About The Position

Reed City High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our Coyote family. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Must be qualified and hold a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with appropriate Science (DI)/(DX)endorsement

Nice To Haves

• An additional endorsement in Math (EX)/(EQ), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction using evidence-based instructional strategies and district curriculum
• Create and maintain a collaborative classroom environment
• Align curriculum, instruction, and assessments while responding to the individual needs of students
• Assess and evaluate student growth through varied formative and summative methods, utilizing data to guide instruction, differentiate support, and celebrate student success
• Actively participate in RCAPS professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in instruction
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance
• Other duties as assigned
