About The Position

LaSalle College Vancouver is part of the LCI Education Network, a global network with 23 post-secondary campuses across 5 continents, employing approximately 3,000 individuals and supporting over 17,000 students annually. LCV offers a variety of design-based programs aligned with professional demands, delivered by experienced teachers passionate about providing world-class theoretical and practical instruction. The High School Representative (HSR) is a hybrid campus-based and home office role responsible for promoting LaSalle College Vancouver to prospective high school students and their families within a designated territory. This involves conducting research, studying LCV programs, and delivering engaging presentations to students, teachers, guidance counselors, and principals. The role requires generating interest, conducting one-on-one consultations, and guiding students through the admissions process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high school students, parents, and educators.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or recruitment, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with people from various social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Must have good credit and qualify for or possess a credit card.

  • Familiarity with LaSalle College Vancouver’s programs and campus is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Meet annual high school visit, presentation, inquiry, and application plans.
  • Collect quality, workable inquiries and employ good qualifying techniques to meet conversion targets.
  • Manage high school territory by developing and building rapport with various departments and creating a comprehensive marketing plan.
  • Schedule and conduct presentations in appropriate classes, maintaining a future calendar in Outlook (5 days per week).
  • Provide one-on-one consultations with prospective students and their families to answer questions and guide them through the admissions process.
  • Identify appropriate students to schedule appointments with Admission Advisors.
  • Proactively follow up with inquiries to ensure appropriate service.
  • Assist Admissions and other departments with student matriculation.
  • Utilize technology, public speaking skills, current industry and LCV school information to deliver effective multimedia presentations.
  • Participate in appropriate recruitment and enrollment events, which include occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in open house events and other on-campus recruitment activities.
