About The Position

This role is responsible for the facilitation and supervision of all aspects of preparing for and conducting a high school play performance. The director will hold practices, a dress rehearsal, and community performances, and will also assist with fundraising efforts. The performance is scheduled for mid to late March and will be coordinated with the building principal, facilities director, and athletic director. This position reports directly to the High School Principal and compensation is based on the REA Supplemental Salary Contract.

Requirements

• Experience in directing plays
• Ability to coordinate with school staff and facilities

Responsibilities

• Hold 2-3 practices weekly
• Hold 1 dress rehearsal
• Hold 2-3 community performances
• Assist with fundraising
• Coordinate performance timing with building principal, facilities director, and athletic director
• Facilitate and supervise all aspects of preparing for and conducting the performance(s)
