High School Mathematics/ Science Teacher
About The Position
Huntington Learning Center is seeking part-time teachers to work with high school students in math and science. This role involves helping students with coursework in subjects like algebra, physics, calculus, and chemistry, as well as SAT preparation. Opportunities are primarily in-center with limited online teaching available. The ideal candidate is a US resident who is caring, qualified, and committed to student success. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates and those re-entering the workforce. Huntington Learning Center has been a leader in educational services since 1977, with a team of devoted tutors passionate about student success. They offer tutoring for ages 5+ in various subjects, including Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT & ACT preparation. Tutors receive intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington's teaching methods and curriculum. This position offers the chance to work directly with students without the need to write lesson plans or grade homework, providing valuable experience and a flexible work environment with after-school, weekend, and summer hours.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required.
