About The Position

This position is for a High School Math Teacher to provide on-campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida. The schedule is Monday thru Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, in keeping with the academic schedule.

Requirements

• Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress
• Working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills

Nice To Haves

• Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)

Responsibilities

• Providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
• Ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior
• Preparing and following class-appropriate Lesson Plans

Benefits

• Base Salary is negotiable between $38,000 - $39,500, a year
• Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
