About The Position

Learn It Systems is a national education organization dedicated to helping all children succeed in school and life. We are seeking certified teachers for the 2026/27 school year to work with students K-12 throughout Tucson. This is a part-time teaching opportunity in our 9-12 classrooms, focusing on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need. You will be part of a growing, interdisciplinary team, collaborating with supervisors, fellow educators, and teaching aides. Working closely with the School District of Tucson, you will deliver high-quality education services in reading and mathematics in a small group setting. This role involves implementing program components, working with school personnel and parents, and supporting students who qualify for Title I assistance.

Requirements

Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
Arizona teaching certification required.
Computer proficiency required.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to go up and down stairs in a school building.
Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.

Experience working with Title I students.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
Planning and delivering effective instruction in a small group setting.
Administering pre and post assessments.
Consistent tracking of student progress and data.
Effective classroom management.
Escorting students to and from the Title I classroom.
Providing a safe and positive learning environment.
