Duchesne Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics education, committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, and aligned with the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (preferred)
• Experience teaching mathematics at the high school level
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A commitment to the mission and values of Duchesne Academy and Sacred Heart education.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in independent or faith-based schools
• Familiarity with innovative teaching practices and curriculum development
• A passion for empowering young women in STEM

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in high school mathematics (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus).
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create a classroom culture that supports students both academically and personally.
• Use a variety of assessment methods to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology effectively into instruction and student learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum, instruction, and student support.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and administration.
• Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and the broader school community.
