About The Position

Lewis Central Community School District is seeking a High School Key Club Sponsor for the 2026-27 School Year. The expected time commitment for this role is from September to May, with potential for additional time required outside this period as determined by the Activities Director. The Key Club Sponsor will lead and develop students in extra-curricular activities, aiming for both individual and program success. This involves developing effective programs focused on skill development, teamwork, and holistic student growth, while providing guidance and mentorship. The role includes planning and executing practice sessions, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and the community. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with policies, effective communication, encouraging academic achievement, and supervising students at events. Travel to events and potentially operating a school vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage academic achievement and emphasize the importance of balancing academics with extra-curricular activities.
  • Attend, support and supervise students at competitions, performances, and other related events.
  • Travel to all related events and in some instances operate a school vehicle to transport student-participants to events.
