About The Position

The Banner Health Internship Program provides valuable insight and professional level work experience in the healthcare industry. These positions are paid, non-benefitted and temporary. They are 20 hours/week, part-time for 10 weeks. The exact hours will vary by department. New Employee Orientation will take place in mid to late September. Requirements

Must reside in Northern Colorado
Must be a current high school senior
Looking to pursue a career in healthcare
Currently enrolled in high school in their senior/final year.
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must have general knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study.

Nice To Haves

Plan to attend college in state (preferred)
Proficiency with commonly used software and personal computers may be necessary, depending upon assignment.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Expands and develops knowledge with exposure to a variety of roles related to area of study.
Participates on work teams, contributes to projects and initiatives, and performs various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
Performs research and prepares reports on assigned topics and /or projects when required.
Works as a member of a team providing service to internal and external customers.
