About The Position
This is a summer program offered to high school students entering their Junior or Senior year of high school, who are interested in seeking a career in Manufacturing. Students must meet all the requirements listed below to qualify for an interview.
Requirements
- 2.5 minimum GPA
- Good Attendance
- Entering Junior or Senior year in Fall 2024 (Must be 16 years of age)
- Must have a good knowledge of basic mathematics
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Nice To Haves
- Some shop experience or technical classes, preferred.
Benefits
- Service credit accumulated during a full-time work experience is awarded should the student become a regular full-time employee.
- If credit for school is sought, Emerson will assist with completing the necessary forms.
- Emerson will reimburse students up to $100 towards the purchase of steel toe shoes.
