About The Position
Manteno High School is seeking applicants for a Special Education Homebound Instructor for a High School student. This position will begin immediately and continue until further notice, requiring five hours of instruction per week.
Requirements
- Valid Professional Educator’s License with LBS1 Certification
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff
- Coordinate with special education staff and co-teachers as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with district policies and procedures
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of student, family, and staff information
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and school staff
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and educational standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by Administration
