The Barry Robinson Center is seeking a passionate High School History Teacher to educate future generations within our military community. This role involves developing and delivering engaging history and social studies instruction for residents who are military-connected youth working through mental and behavioral health diagnoses. Residents typically stay for six to nine months, requiring year-round instruction to ensure educational continuity. The position offers small class sizes (6-8 students) with dedicated Teacher Assistants, allowing for meaningful relationships and individualized support. As part of the Education team, the teacher will contribute to meeting each student's academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs, fostering an understanding of history, government, geography, and civics while strengthening critical thinking skills.
