About The Position

Ensures that school buildings and environment is safe, clean, functional, well-maintained, and secure. This is a continuing position, meaning employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary. The position is non-exempt and pays hourly at $39.21 for the 2026-2027 Salary Schedule. This role is classified as a High School Head Custodian Level 7.

Requirements

• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Walk long distances
• Bend, stoop and twist frequently
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Climb ladders
• Work in confined spaces
• Work at heights occasionally
• Use hand tools
• Reach above shoulder height
• Perform work outdoors during all seasons
