About The Position

This is a seasonal position for the Fall 2026 season, starting August 10, 2026. The pay ranges from $3,400 to $3,700 per season, paid at the completion of the season. The role requires the ability to supervise students, enforce rules, possess knowledge and skills in volleyball, plan and direct the sport, teach advanced techniques, promote and follow policies, communicate effectively, and recognize the importance of safety.

Requirements

• Hold a current certificate in AED/CPR upon hire (for Head Coaches)
• Be a CDE licensed teacher or hold a valid Coaches registration with CHSAA upon hire
• Hold a current concussion certification from the NFHS or Children's Hospital Colorado upon hire
• Pass the CHSAA annual Coaches Exam

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching experience and/or participation at the high school or college level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students
• Enforce district, school, league, and CHSAA rules and regulations
• Plan, organize, and successfully direct the specific sport (volleyball)
• Perform and teach advanced techniques in volleyball
• Promote and follow Board of Education policies, Superintendent Policies, and building and department procedures
• Communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with all people
• Recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions
