About The Position
Olathe Public Schools is seeking a High School Band Teacher for Olathe North. This position will instruct band students in grades 9-12, including students with educational risk factors and special needs. The ability to form relationships with a wide variety of children and families is essential. Differentiating instruction for a wide range of developmental needs is required. The teacher must understand children with significant needs and behaviors and how to program for them. The teacher is responsible for the implementation of the district curriculum in a way that maximizes student learning and for the supervision and evaluation of all students within their teaching assignment.
Requirements
- Kansas teaching license with instrumental music endorsement required
- TB Test/Background Check clearance
