The High School Admissions Representative serves as a primary point of contact for prospective high school students and their families, supporting them as they explore and evaluate post-secondary education options in the skilled trades. This role is responsible for building relationships, conducting outreach, and guiding prospective students from initial interest through enrollment. The position is field-based, with the majority of time spent visiting high schools, attending recruitment events, and engaging students and families within an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, higher education, student services, recruitment, or a similarly goal-driven, relationship-focused role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining a personalized, student-centered approach
  • Experience working toward measurable performance goals (e.g., enrollment, retention, engagement, or service outcomes)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to guide individuals through complex decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple prospective student relationships simultaneously
  • Effective communicator with a student-centered mindset
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a travel heavy role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CRM systems or related tools to track interactions and progress is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families throughout the admissions process
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, text, and virtual meetings to engage prospective students
  • Represent the institution at high schools, career fairs, information sessions, and recruitment activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners
  • Support prospective students in making informed decisions about their education and career pathways
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective students from initial contact through enrollment
  • Use a consultative approach to understand individual student needs, interests, and motivations
  • Accurately and compliantly present program offerings, campus features, and career outcomes
  • Conduct all admissions activities with the highest integrity, adhering to state, federal, and company policies
  • Consistently achieve recruitment and enrollment targets
  • Track and report on prospective student engagement and enrollment outcomes
  • Forecast incoming students to support class capacity and planning needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions and activities within the CRM system
  • Work closely with admissions teammates and internal departments to ensure a positive student experience
  • Participate in follow-up activities with prospective and enrolled students as appropriate
  • Attend required events, including orientations and semi annual graduation ceremonies
