About The Position

This role is for individuals who are good with people and are looking for a meaningful career change from quota-only sales roles, unpredictable schedules, or transactional jobs. It offers a chance to use communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and customer service or sales experience to help high school students explore career-focused education. The company is looking for motivated, people-focused professionals, not necessarily career educators, and will provide training on their admissions and high school recruiting process. The High School Admissions Representative will be the main link between campuses, local high schools, and prospective students, building community relationships and guiding students and families through the admissions process. Travel within the Massachusetts Territory is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to follow established processes and directions while working independently
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, educators, and community partners

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales, customer service, admissions, recruiting, or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, public relations, and promotional skills (training will be provided)
  • Experience with public speaking or presenting to groups
  • Experience building relationships with schools, community organizations, or educational partners

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and strengthen existing relationships with local high schools, school counselors, educators, and community organizations.
  • Generate new student leads through classroom presentations, college and career fairs, community events, campus bus tours, and other high school recruitment activities.
  • Conduct engaging presentations to students, educators, and community partners about the schools and career training programs.
  • Meet with prospective students and their families on campus, conducting admissions interviews and personalized campus tours.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Utilize the school's CRM/database system to manage prospective student outreach, follow-up, and ongoing communication.
  • Build trust through consultative, student-focused conversations.
  • Learn, retain, and communicate accurate, up-to-date information about programs and educational opportunities professionally and compliantly.
  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership and campus departments to provide an outstanding prospective student experience.
  • Attend weekly Admissions meetings to report recruiting activities, outreach efforts, and enrollment progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to the High School Recruiting Process.
  • Maintain and track recruitment materials and event supplies.
  • Learn, understand, and maintain compliance with all institutional policies, procedures, and admissions regulations.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and quarterly enrollment funnel goals through effective outreach, relationship building, and recruitment activities.
