About The Position

We are looking for knowledgeable, dependable tutors to provide one-on-one instruction to high school students throughout El Paso in a variety of subjects. Our students seek support in Math, English, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and AP-level courses. Tutors can choose the students they'd like to work with and build a schedule that fits their availability. Consistency is essential for student success.

Requirements

Reliable transportation (travel to students' homes is required).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Availability between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM on weekdays (weekend availability is a plus but not required).
Strong knowledge in at least one high school subject area.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to each student's learning style.

Responsibilities

Provide engaging one-on-one tutoring for high school students.
Tutor in one or more subject areas, including Math, English, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and AP courses.
Assess student strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Help students master course content, complete assignments, prepare for quizzes and exams, and develop effective study skills.
Follow the student's school curriculum when requested.
Submit session reports promptly and communicate student progress with our team.
Provide your own teaching materials when necessary.
