About The Position

The High Reach Material Handler operates a high-reach forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This safety-sensitive role works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM. Applicants considered for employment must successfully complete pre-employment drug testing, which may include marijuana testing in accordance with applicable laws. The role also requires meeting TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and write English; in Quebec, ability to read and write French.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds for 100 feet.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Previous forklift experience; proficient high-reach forklift experience is specified in the job summary.
Ability to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping motions.
Safety mindset.

Nice To Haves

Experience using handheld measuring tools.
Basic computer skills and knowledge, including database programs and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Accurately remove and stock products, customers’ products, and supplies according to the inventory plan.
Select products to fill customer orders and package them properly.
Load and unload trucks and verify that the correct items are handled.
Pick, process, and pack orders; may also cut orders using a Kaltenbach saw.
Complete cycle counts.
Identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
Complete paperwork according to work instructions when required.
Perform general cleanup.
Inspect the forklift at the beginning of each shift and report issues to the immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
Participate in and support health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and requirements.
Assist with other duties supporting the operation as requested by a supervisor or team lead.
