About The Position

Use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves handling palletized goods for storage and outbound shipment, recording product information using an RF system, and maintaining forklift and battery equipment. Work may take place in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C, with company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear where applicable. Available schedules are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. The posting lists a pay rate of $22.00 and a pay range of $19.18–$32.40. Requirements

At least two years of high reach forklift experience.
Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; the weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials in accordance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Put away palletized units by lifting forks to place them in racks above floor height.
Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and prepare them for outbound shipment.
Select and record materials, weights, counts, and the condition of food items using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Complete the daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
Monitor battery charge; maintain and clean batteries; and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
