About The Position

Use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. This role supports warehouse material handling and shipment preparation, including storing and retrieving palletized units and recording food-item information using a radio frequency system. The position may involve working in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; the required weight may be higher depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with various noise levels, which can at times be loud.

Responsibilities

Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set them up for outbound shipment.
Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Complete the daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
