About The Position

Lineage is hiring full-time High Reach Forklift Drivers for its Stevens Point, Wisconsin facility across multiple shifts. The role uses a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following applicable regulatory and company safety requirements. Drivers handle palletized goods in rack locations and prepare products for outbound shipment, record information about food items using an RF system, and perform routine forklift and battery care. The position may involve working in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear. Starting pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the company's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; the required weight may be higher depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with various noise levels, which can at times be loud.

Responsibilities

Put away palletized units by lifting forks to place them in racks above floor height.
Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and set them up for outbound shipment.
Select and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Complete the daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
