About The Position
Now hiring for the Transmission Line Construction Team! Join us and be part of a 16-person team that works on LCRA Capital Portfolio projects around Texas. You will be trained to safely work on transmission lines using a variety of equipment. As your knowledge and skillset increase, you will be trusted with more independence, as you continue your training with the goal of being a High Line Worker Journeyman. Requirements
- Zero or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction and/or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights, or relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working on transmission or distribution lines.
- Hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Help construct, maintain and repair transmission lines.
- Operate and maintain equipment like bucket trucks, boom trucks, drilling rigs, and winch trucks.
- Learn and follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Safely climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights.
