About The Position

The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated and detail oriented
healthcare professional to join the School in the critical role of HIA & Policy
Risk Analyst. This position is accountable for the identification and
coordination of the School's risk management activities and handling of
sensitive information and is responsible for coordinating the contract review
processes and ensuring compliance with the Health Information Act (HIA), the
Health Professions Act (HPA), the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), the Access
to Information Act (ATIA) and the School's regulatory colleges code of ethics
and standards of practice.

This activity involves developing and executing compliance policies and
coordinating the School's risk management-related records management activities.
This position coordinates the School's Privacy & Security Reviews (PSR) and
submission of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) to the Office of the Information
and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (OPIC).
