About The Position

Right at Home Boston NW, located in Bedford, MA, has been providing outstanding elderly care for over 19 years and is a leader in the home care industry. As a HHA/PCA/Caregiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services that allow our elderly clients to stay in their homes. You will help elderly clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion. This role may involve safety assistance with showering, personal care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, dementia care, housekeeping, and companionship. You may also prepare basic meals, run errands, take clients to appointments, and engage in companionship activities. You will be expected to be awake and alert, even on overnight shifts, to assist clients.

Requirements

18+ years of age
Have reliable, consistent transportation
Pass a full employment background check
Communicate in English (written and verbal)
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as client requested

Nice To Haves

HHA certificate preferred but experience counts!

Responsibilities

Provide a variety of non-medical services that allow our elderly clients to stay in their homes.
Help elderly clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.
Provide safety assistance with showering, personal care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, dementia care, housekeeping, and companionship to our elderly.
Prepare or assist with preparation of basic meals for your elderly client.
Run errands, take your elderly client to appointments, and provide companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, games, cards etc.
Be awake and alert even on overnight shifts to assist our elderly clients.
