The company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Loader Operator for a position in Pass Christian, MS. The Loader position assists personnel with loading activities and routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Foreman. Assigned duties are according to specific procedures and work is checked frequently. No per diem is available.

Requirements

High school or equivalent
Basic knowledge of rigging and components of rigging
Familiar with Turner Industries monthly/quarterly color codes
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

Assists personnel with loading activities and routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Accountable for performance of scheduled work.
Observant of operating process equipment and maintenance needs.
Communicates with supervisor as necessary to ensure maximum performances as outlined by targeted goals.
Knowledgeable of and must follow all established plant and company policies and procedures including plant emergency procedures.
Must be alert for changing conditions and taking any/all actions required.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
