About The Position

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or Technical training preferred.
- License Cert Clin Hemodialysis Tech required.
- 1-3 years related work experience required.
- Basic familiarity with computers.
- Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Acute Care Hemodialysis Unit preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care including: transfers of patients into bed, obtaining weight, applying monitoring equipment (essential)
- Assists in monitoring through treatment (essential)
- Assists with set up and monitoring of all hemodialysis equipment (essential)
- Collects monthly water cultures of all HD equipment; Review results and follow protocol for abnormal results (essential)
- Identifies and participates in quality improvement process (essential)
- Closely collaborates with Clinical Engineering and outside vendors to maintain equipment (essential)
- Daily water testing, completion of equipment quality control checks, machine logs, machine disinfection per policy (essential)
- Works with materials management team to maintain Par levels of supplies, monitors integrity of products including expiration dates, participates in the evaluation of new products and supplies as needed (essential)
