Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology
Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including leadership roles
Proven track record in managing complex patient cases
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Must be board-certified

Experience in clinical research is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Lead the Hematology Oncology department, overseeing clinical operations and patient care
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hematological and oncological disorders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
Conduct clinical research and trials to advance treatment methodologies
Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and fellows
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in hematology and oncology
Engage with patients and families to provide education and support
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities
