Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. This role involves assessing patient status, writing prescriptions, determining eligibility for clinical trials, interpreting diagnostic results, and communicating patient care information to collaborating physicians. The APRN will administer therapeutic measures, document patient care, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds. They will also provide on-call coverage, triage patients, and assist in managing family dynamics during patient care. Additionally, the role includes marketing and promoting cancer treatment, managing work priorities, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. The APRN will adhere to company policies, maintain equipment, ensure patient confidentiality, and assist in training new employees. The position may require working at any company location and working overtime when needed.
