About The Position

This is a full-time, temporary physician staffing role at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. The position involves an outpatient clinic setting with inpatient consult support, focusing on direct patient care with minimal administrative burden. The role is structured for Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with no on-call, call-back, or weekend requirements. It includes a base period with an option year, totaling 1,992 hours annually (standard 1.0 FTE).

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology (ABIM)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
