About The Position

Medical Laboratory Technologist to work in the Hematology/Core Laboratory under the direct supervision of a supervisor. Will be responsible for performing a variety of complex and routine tests within the Core Laboratory, complying with all safety and regulatory requirements. Required to rotate weekends and scheduled holidays based on the needs of the department; participate in interdepartmental collaboration within the institution to provide the highest quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an approved program
• Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department
• One-year relevant clinical laboratory experience
