About The Position

MUSC Health- Florence is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join a well-established and very busy hematology and oncology practice which includes one physician and one advanced practitioner. As a partner and collaborator with our academic medical center, you’ll have access to advanced technologies such as specialty and sub-specialty diagnostic support, and direct affiliation with clinical centers of excellence, all to better empower you to increase and optimize care locally. The practice has a Monday - Friday schedule, with Radiation Oncology on site. Tumor and lung boards meet weekly, and there is IV therapy on site. The physician will have Advanced Practitioner support and experienced staff. The service area population is 250,000.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible candidates.
• Experienced candidates should be board certified in both Hematology and Oncology.
• MD/DO degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology and oncology care within a well-established practice.
• Collaborate with an academic medical center to access advanced technologies and clinical centers of excellence.
• Participate in weekly tumor and lung board meetings.
• Utilize IV therapy services.
• Work with an Advanced Practitioner and experienced staff.
