About The Position

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking an emerging leader in myeloma and amyloidosis to join their practice. The division includes over 50 board-certified hematologists, medical oncologists, and scientists. The Myeloma, Amyloidosis, and Dysproteinemia Disease Working Group in Florida focuses on myeloma, amyloidosis, and related plasma cell disorders, with active involvement in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Disease Group. This group collaborates with other Mayo Clinic sites to form a leading research group in myeloma and amyloidosis, holding significant research funding. The division also supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship and works with medical students. The ideal candidate will be a competitive clinician researcher with a track record in publications, clinical trials, or translational research, ideally at the Assistant Professor or recent Associate Professor level. The position requires active and significant participation in clinical duties.

Requirements

  • Promising track record as a clinician researcher in myeloma and amyloidosis
  • Clear activity in publications, clinical trials or translational research
  • Earlier in the career at the level of Assistant Professor, or recent Associate Professor
