About The Position

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an experienced Hematologist and Clinical Investigator to join its malignant hematology program in Nashville, Tennessee. The role combines direct patient care with clinical research focused on plasma cell disorders, particularly multiple myeloma. The physician will divide time between a dedicated Multiple Myeloma Clinic and clinical research, treating malignant hematology cases and connecting emerging therapies with patient care. The physician will collaborate with hematology colleagues in outpatient and inpatient settings, with hospital coverage at TriStar Centennial and Ascension St. Thomas. Dedicated 24/7 inpatient APP coverage supports the team, and research physicians have a reduced call commitment. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a principal investigator for Phase 1–Phase 4 multiple myeloma clinical trials, including cellular therapy trials.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board eligible or board certified.
Experienced physician required.
Strong background in direct patient care and conducting clinical research in plasma cell disorders.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for patients with plasma cell disorders and malignant hematology cases.
Divide time between a dedicated Multiple Myeloma Clinic and clinical research.
Conduct clinical research in plasma cell disorders and multiple myeloma.
Collaborate with hematology colleagues in outpatient and inpatient care.
