About The Position

This is a Full Time position at Goodwill Broward Main Office-BMAIN in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The role involves cleaning, stocking, cashiering, processing, loading, and customer service activities in an outlet store, dock, and salvage areas. The salary range is $14.00 - $14.00 per hour, with up to 25% travel required.

Requirements

• Less than high school education, or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work in wet, humid, or hot conditions, depending on the weather.
• The employee must frequently lift and move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Helpers with a forklift permit and following OSHA procedures can drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) bathrooms, floors, shelves, and windows.
• Stocking responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
• Cashier duties
• Processing: sorting, separating, baling, dumping trash.
• Loading: loading and unloading trucks.
• Helpers with a forklift permit and following OSHA procedures can drive a forklift.
• Customer service activities (including but not limited to customer assistance, pricing assistance, explaining store operations, and other techniques that may enhance the store’s sales and community image.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
