About The Position

Responsible for the assembly and delivery of patient meals. Duties include preparing and delivery of patient trays, cleaning & warewashing, organizing and stocking supplies and other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Must be willing to acquire the Food Handler's Certification
• Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP regulations
• Knowledge of industrial food service equipment
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with volunteers and patients, both verbal and written
• Position requires long periods of standing, repetitive actions, and significant amounts of bending and lifting
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record
• Good communication skills with a clear patient focus
• Ability to manage execution
• Ability to foster teamwork and cooperation
• Must provide availability of up to a 0.50 FTE

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience preferable in the food service industry
• The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation
