About The Position

Based in Fremont, CA, the Helper will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications, including assisting other employees as needed.

Requirements

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
Must know basic math.
May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

Responsibilities

Prepares work for processing, including cleaning, painting, wiring, fixturing, etc.
Loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.
Stacks/loads parts in customer bins or containers.
Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity, or concern to the Heat Treater, Foreman/Lead Person, or management.
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
