About The Position

The Helper is an entry-level job or temporary position which is assigned to assist with extra workload, cover absences and vacations, and supplement crews as required to meet unusual changes in the elements; heat, cold, severe weather, and etc. This position description does not promise or imply that the functions listed are the only duties to be performed or that the position may not change or be eliminated. Employees are always expected to follow their supervisor’s instructions and to perform the tasks requested by their supervisors.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• The ability to follow direction.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• This is an entry-level position.
• Current Transportation Worker’s Identification Card

Responsibilities

• Perform property tending duties such as yard repair, snow shoveling, cleaning the pier, mucking the tanks, and painting and assisting others.
• May be assigned to unskilled job on the yard.
• Other duties as assigned
