About The Position
The Helper is responsible for supporting key operations within the waste management and recycling industry. Requirements
- Physical activity including heavy lifting fast-paced walking, and climbing in and out of the truck.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in all weather conditions.
- Ability to operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a dedication to safety.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently assist the driver in picking up trash and disposing of it in the truck.
- Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery when needed.
- Assist the driver with backing up the truck in tight spaces or difficult environments.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist with sorting and loading materials.
- Navigate through streets, alleyways, highways, and construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in the truck's designated areas.
