About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive helper for a 65-year-old female client diagnosed with cancer. The role focuses on providing emotional support, daily assistance, and safe transportation to help maintain her comfort and quality of life. This role is ideal for a helper who can provide both physical assistance and emotional reassurance, helping the client feel supported and comfortable throughout her care journey.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Haitian Creole and/or French speaking preferred
- Experience with senior care or cancer support is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, personal care as needed)
- Offer medication reminders/support
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, therapy, errands, and shopping
- Assist with light tasks and daily routines
