About The Position

We are seeking a Helpdesk Journeyman 1 to join our team. As a Helpdesk Journeyman 1, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our clients are satisfied with our services and that their technical issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with remote desktop support
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy
  • Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP or Security+

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support to clients via phone, email, or in person
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise user on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
