About The Position

We are hiring on behalf of a growing NJ-based managed service provider that specializes in technology support for small to medium-sized businesses, particularly in the construction industry. They've been doing excellent work for over a decade and are bringing on a dedicated technician so the team can continue to grow and serve their clients well. This is a full-time, W-2 hybrid role (80% remote) with occasional on-site client visits, primarily in Morris, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. Mileage is reimbursed.

Requirements

  • Remote support and ticketing systems
  • Based networking concepts (DNS, DCHP, connectivity troubleshooting)
  • Windows desktop operating systems and common-end user troubleshooting
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of IT or delivery technician experience.
  • Comfort with (or ability to quickly learn) Microsoft 365 services
  • A personable, professional phone presence
  • Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus but not required. Experience talks louder here.

Responsibilities

  • Handling client support tickets via phone and email
  • Managing user onboarding and offboarding
  • Assisting with new hardware setup and configuration
  • Using downtime to self-develop, learn new tools, and contribute to internal projects
