About The Position

Student workers will staff the help/information desk in the Mosaic Life-care Commons on the Savannah Campus. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Student workers will act as referral agents by connecting patrons to requested services. This position will also assist departments with general office duties.

Requirements

• Must be Federal Work Study (FWS) eligible
• NCMC Student with knowledge of the Savannah Campus
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Active listening and approachable demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of patrons, students, and NCMC faculty/staff.

Responsibilities

• Staff the information desk and be prepared to answer general questions concerning NCMC and directional questions about the building
• Be at work on time as scheduled
• Update Calendar of Events
• Maintain contact with Savannah Campus Admissions, Dean, and Tutoring Center Coordinator
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills toward all patrons, students, and NCMC faculty/staff
• Perform other record-keeping and resource maintenance duties
• All other duties as assigned
