About The Position

The HELOC Type/QC Specialist is responsible for analyzing & reviewing public records related to titles of homes, land, and buildings. Specialists are also responsible for the typing of this information & the quality control check of the completed property title reports to identify any errors or improper execution. The HELOC Type/QC Specialist will be responsible to meet daily goals for the processing of these reports and ensure any revisions/corrections are made in a timely manner for each transaction. Qualified candidates must possess a high attention to detail as this position involves responsibility for accuracy of documentation critical to the real estate transaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior industry knowledge in mortgage processing, or title & closing preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and report deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, and other real estate documents to provide a complete and accurate property report.
  • Review property tax information and legal descriptions for accuracy
  • Manage varying client expectations and requirements.
  • Respond to all incoming emails and communications within established timelines.
  • Review details of customers orders to ensure data requirements for processing are completed.
  • Perform quality control checks of completed reports for accuracy in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Request corrections of any errors in document packages for any vendor errors.
  • Escalate issues and trends to team lead and management.
