About The Position

Blaine Brothers, a Minnesota-based family-owned business, is seeking a 1st shift Tow Truck Driver for their Clearwater, MN location. This full-time position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, a CDL license, and a strong work ethic. The role involves heavy-duty towing, general knowledge/maintenance on heavy-duty diesel, parts pick-ups, assisting technicians in the shop, maintaining a clean shop and customer vehicles, and ensuring trucks meet safety requirements. Requirements

Great work ethic

Attention to details
Mechanical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience or technical training
Basic tool set and tool box for heavy truck repair to start (preferred)
CDL, hazmat, tankers, air brakes, doubles and triples
Clean driving record
Ability to lift 80-100 lbs. occasionally and 80-100 lbs. frequently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
Honesty and respect

Nice To Haves

General knowledge/maintenance on heavy duty diesel preferred
Basic tool set and tool box for heavy truck repair

Responsibilities

Pick up and delivery of customers vehicles
Towing heavy duty trucks & trailer.
Parts picks up, assisting techs in shop, maintain a clean shop, clean customer vehicles.
Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
Ensure the final work product meets quality standard
Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
