About The Position

This position is responsible for performing deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment. The role involves vigorous scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and scraping in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The company reserves the right to make changes to the job description whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervision
• Ability to use caustic chemicals and operate various cleaning equipment such as a pressure washer
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Use of cleaning equipment
• Understanding of health and sanitation guidelines
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings
• Cleans kitchen equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, ventilation hoods and any other equipment
• Assists with other stewarding duties, as needed
• Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers
