About The Position
Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Trucking company. We are in search of a Shop Mechanic to join their team in Windsor, CA. The ideal fit will have extensive knowledge of all areas of Heavy Trucking maintenance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines (gas and diesel)
- Hands on experience maintaining and repairing trucks
- Must own tool set
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
Responsibilities
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems
- Perform complete repair and overhaul functions, including diagnostics and testing
- Perform parts management
- Maintain own tools and equipment
