About The Position
Alpha Automotive is hiring an experienced Heavy Truck & Equipment Technician in Columbus, Ohio. The technician will repair a variety of trucks, heavy equipment, and RVs, diagnosing and fixing issues across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, and HVAC/refrigerant systems. The role offers year-round work and emphasizes quality workmanship, efficient repairs, and accurate service records. The listed pay is $100,000–$150,000 per year, based on experience and certifications.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience repairing large trucks, heavy equipment, and/or RVs.
- Ability to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, and HVAC/refrigerant systems.
- Confidence troubleshooting complex issues and completing repairs efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
- Ability to maintain accurate repair and service records.
Nice To Haves
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification.
- EPA 609 certification and experience working with A/C and refrigerant systems.
