About The Position

The Heavy Truck Driver is responsible for operating various heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. This role involves maintaining all assigned equipment, overseeing loading and unloading, securing loads for travel, and operating water trucks for road maintenance. The position requires a constant state of alertness and safe operation of equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of four years of Heavy Equipment operating experience.
• Ability to comply with DOT FMCSA standards.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening
• Must be able to pass Government background check

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, graders, farm tractors etc. in the performance of roads and grounds maintenance or other maintenance activities as required.
• Maintain all assigned equipment in a safe operating condition
• Oversee loading and unloading of vehicular type equipment or various other items.
• Secure loads on trailer for travel over various road conditions.
• Operate water trucks for road maintenance.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned
