The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Torrington team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment essential to keeping Wyoming’s roadways safe and operational. Working under direct supervision, you’ll perform skilled mechanical work, including diesel and gasoline engine overhauls and tune-ups, brake and steering repairs, transmission and hydraulic system maintenance, and other essential mechanical tasks.
